Leather
Statement: All our leather is vegetable tanned
Cincelado (Handcrafted Chisel)
Cincelado is an artisanal technique that implies marking the leather using a chisel or pricking iron. Each piece is unique with an exclusive design that reflects the culture and talent of Mexican artisans.
Leather Care and Storage
- Clean Regularly: wipe with soft, dry or slightly damp cloth to remove dirt. Avoid harsh cleaners.
- Condition the Leather. Use a leather conditioner every few months to keep it soft. Test first on a small area to check for discoloration.
- Avoid Water: Keep leather dry. If product gets wet, remove excess water with absorbent paper and let it air-dry naturally.
- Remove Stains Quickly: For oil, blot and use cornstarch. For Ink, use leather cleaner. Never rub too hard.
- Store Carefully: Keep out of direct sunlight and heat. When not in use, fill with paper and store it in a dry place. This will prevent damage to the overall shape and condition of the purse.
- Handle Gently: Don’t overload bags and avoid sharp objects that might scratch the leather.
